Maremma offers a variety of ancient civilizations, traditions, a lush landscape and several nature reserves, traditional cuisine and fine wine.


The Maremma offers not only beaches of thin sand together with luxuriant pine forests, small coves and crystal clear waters, deserted beaches, untouched islands surrounded by clear sea, but also wonderful villages and castles full of stories and legends.


Montieri and the world heritage Geopark

Montieri gets its glorious reputation of mining master, from the incredible richness of its subsoil, abundant in silver and copper. The town holds the atmosphere of medieval narrow alleys and stone buildings. The village is located within the larger geothermal basin, this has allowed the site to become in 2014 a sustainable village, by implementing an heating project. The territory of Montieri is part of the Tuscan Mining Geopark. This area presents a verdant vegetation, breath-taking landscapes and evidences of geological, mining and metallurgical activities from old to modern age. The park covers six municipalities of the Colline Metallifere ( Metalliferous Hills). Visiting the most important places, you can experience the long and complex geological evolution of the whole area.


Accesa Lake

The Etruscans were capable as no one else to choose the most beautiful places for their settlements, they lived along the Accesa Lake from the ninth century B.C. Its waters have a relaxing and calming effect and something magical is hidden behind their beneficial properties. An underground spring which originates in the Lake Lower Basin Hell  provides the lake with clear water. Just 30 minutes from our farm, this place is worth a visit  for sure.


Uccellina Natural park

Trekking lovers can not miss a day dedicated to the visiting the Maremma ParkOverlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the park of the Tuscan archipelago, the park extends for 25 km with a string of hills leading down to the sea to sandy beaches and high cliffs, surrounded by swamps, pine forests, cultivated fields and pastures. Among the intense aromas of herbs, colorful berries and animals noises, the park welcomes visitors showing off its sweet and wild sides.
